DESCRIPTION:

From Lowder Creek this trail meanders uphill through spruce, fir and aspen stands into large alpine meadows to the divide between the Sevier River and Parowan drainages near Brian Head Peak. Spectacular views into Parowan Valley can be seen at the summit.
The trail then begins to descend off the rim through large rockslides into more alpine meadows, passing by Cub Lake and into a sea of Forest green crossing several springs and small openings. Near Paradise Spring the Hendrickson Lake Trail #049 comes into this trail. Hikers have their choice of which route they want to take. The Hendrickson Trail is slightly longer and steeper.
